Field Day!

Who says we can't have a Field Day without

having a Friday School?

Perish the thought!

Homeschoolers have a lot of pinned-up

energy...

no phys-ed...

no swim class...

no recess...

This was a time to break free...

To let loose...

To run at top speed through an

obstacle course...

Breaking world records!

Breaking legs!

Haha!

Thankfully there were no broken bones,

no twisted ankles,

no blood,

no mad dash to the ER!

PRAISE THE LORD!

Just a lot of fun!

We were able to help out this year.

Everyone had a blast dashing through the dandelions!

There was the blue team...

And the red team...

There was tug of war...

the all-time Fav...

Spoke tackle...

Relays...

...And
Steal the bacon, which is a great competetive game of

strength and will.

It has even been known to cause a few injuries
in the past, but we had a good referee...

Thanks Jacob K!

The moms cheered!

And helped maintain a peaceable
environment between

the two rivals...

Auntie Dawn did this single handledly

all while keeping the little babe

in the tummy warm,

and full of happy treats!

She must be a Super Mom!

Unfortunately, after such a wonderful
day there was an unforgettable

travesty!

Just when the mouth juices were flowing...
and the stomache acids gurgling

in the ultimate anticipation

of a GREAT BIG BITE

of Gooey Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza...

PLOP!!!

The ants were rejoicing!

Poor Abby!

= (

All in all wonderful memories were made!

Same time same place next year guys!

19th Birthday!

Birthdays have not always been

happy occasions for some...

Some gifts didn't even bring a smile...

The stress of a birthday could be
quite upsetting...

But then there was a glimmer of hope on the

horizon...

Maybe birthdays weren't that bad after all.

It wasn't long before birthdays became

bright happy occasions for this little girl...
= )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIT!

Brit was thrilled to get such an array of

colors for her nails

from the Rays!

Thanks guys!

Guess how old she is?

(Thank you Miss Karla and CeCe for the keepsake)

It took a while for us to

figure out where the special

birthday outing would be

since the rain spoiled our

original plans.

The committee is in session,

and the birthday girl

awaits the verdict...

Even Josiah is up in the air

about the

final decision.

One day this little guy will no longer

fit in the space

between the fridge and

the ceiling, but

until that time I think

Uncle Rick will keep

making the attempt.

"I forgive you Uncle Rick for

making a spectacle of me."

And here he comes for the slam

dunk!

The crowd goes wild!

(at least he thinks so)

= )

The fun activity was decided upon...

Mr. Bug was there to greet us.

There were go-carts awaiting

all those willing to ride...

The line up?

Mad racer J!

Cool Uncle T

Coming in second...

Ravishing Uncle R

and

birthday Brit.

Then we enjoyed a game of...

Followed by a few holes in...

The golf course was a great adventure!

First there was a trip into the deep...
Brit narrowly escaped the mouth of the shark!

Ouch!

A hole in one in the coral reef...

Playing with the dolphins!

Then we took a walk in the jungles

of
Jurassic Park!

Auntie Tiffani made a friend.

Jay didn't mind the Raptor's

breath...

Brit's head was just the right size
for a mid-day snack...

The pro-golfers had a slight

accident with their

All-terrain vehicle...

So, we "high-tailed" it to a place of safety

where we continued the

birthday celebration

with friends and family...

Cutting the cake was never so much fun...

We sang...

We ate...

and ate...

The guys are in an

intense game
playing the Wii.

WANTED--

for indoor

Tom-foolery on a rainy day...

The guilty pair...

A picture with the birthday girl...

Uh-oh!

I think the party's over for some...

=(

Triplets...

The birthday weekend continues

with the BCM basketball game...
The game was so close it went into over time

twice!

We even got to see

Tizzy and Levi!

Brooklyn, Tiz, Amanda, and Air...

The Rains with their

droplets!

We had a great time with Mrs. C.,
she was a wonderful hostess!

We enjoyed having tea and hearing

about her over sea travels.

Harriet showed us how she carries her little

one around while she does her chores.

Great idea!

Thanks to everyone for making Brit's birthday weekend so special and memorable!
