Neighborhood Bible Time

We had a great NBT week!
I never knew a Vacation Bible School could be so much fun!
The classes were for every age group up to sixth grade...

Moms and little ones enjoyed the week...
Even the workers had fun with the water balloons...

It was a blessing to see so many new faces...

The kids loved winning ribbons...

This should really be the last pic since it shows the last "hoo-rah"
on the final day. Everyone enjoyed cookies and icecream!
The games were an outlet for every age!
This one was the final step of the
obstacle course...
Eating a GIANT marshmallow without hands!
Hmmm......
I guess someone has been caught in the act of
trying to save the mallow from the grass?
= )

Then there was the beloved snack time!

They really set out the munchies...

And there was plenty of incentive to
memorize your verses...

I'd say the penny scale was the clincher...

The moment of suspense came as the donated pennies
piled up...and up
... and turned into gold bricks even!

Okay, so I got a little ahead of myself...
The best event of the week was not the pennies piling,
but what "took the cake" was the...
award winning cast...
playing in a marvellous production...

THE SKIT!
A thrilling drama!
Of course there were the good guys...
trying to save the treaty
and the bad guys...
who stole the treaty!

The kids looked forward to the continuing
episodes each day and were kept on the edge of their seats
wondering...
what would happen next?!

Tabitha did a great job as the "good cowgirl".
Her southern twang kept the audience spellbound!
Co-starring...
cowgirls Joanna and Brit...
and Daniel Boone look-alikes...
Jacob and Nathan!

And of course the skit would not have been complete without
the bad guys!
Their starring roles were played by...
Sam J, Simon J, Joshua M, and Daniel W
Great job guys!

The whole week was filled with fun and laughter...

Especially when the long awaited finale came...
And a few privileged kids were able to put pies
in the face of Mr. Nick!

He was a good sport!

Looking forward to next year!
